"Sabu"Today I am printing and stretching pet portraits. Early this morning I got started on Sabu. I will be proofing this adorable dog with ball next week. The background here is borrowed from the portrait below. By using the multiply filter it becomes a subtle tone on tone pattern. The work on the dog is a combination of regular old posterize with a whole lot of drawing and painting on top. This portrait is a great example of what you can achieve with a great snapshot. The eyes here were expressive, the pose playful ... yes, this photo was a 10 all the way around.
