Anyone Flocking to Flock?

Yesterday I posted on my current favorite web browser tool i-google. Well of course just when you think you have discovered sliced bread someone clues you in about even more cool stuff out there. Check out Flock!
From the site: " Flock was founded on the vision that the web browser can and should enable the richest user experience possible across information-gathering, sharing, communication, self-expression and interaction."
I want to try this out soon. If any of you guys are using it please post a comment, and tell us if it has changed your life, or at least your web-life.

Ok, I will post some doggy art soon, I promise.

I love Flock!!! I downloaded it last week and have been playing ever since. I am able to do everything I have to do on the web from one place without have to bounce from screen to screen or page to page. This is the best download ever!!!

Interesting...I feel like I have to do i-google 1st and then move up...
I was wondering Rebecca if you've found an artist software you like.
Your biz seems layered with due dates and scheduling. How do you follow up on all these?
I love your client walls btw!

Terri thanks for the input. I just downloaded it and it seems cool, but I am a wee bit lost here at first.

ParisBreakfasts -

For artist software do you mean for the creative end or the biz end?
For creating the artwork I use Photoshop CS3.

For the biz end of things I make use of all the standard biz tools I can learn. I am using the google calendar right now to keep my client due dates straight and that has helped so much. I use paypal for invoicing and since 90% of my people pay that way it helps at tax time.

I have a system of both hard files, clip boards, wall pockets, and the google calendar.

I would like to start using quick books, 10 years in and I still find accounting my weakest link.

Oh and another tip for a great biz tool is catfinder for cataloging your image cds. It is a Mac program.

THANKS for keeping me in the loop on all this stuff!!!! You're like my own internet-whiz "kazoo". Except you don't hover in the air above my shoulder.

(...Did you watch the Flinstones?)

Yes I was talking about the biz end Rebecca - something that tracks inventory, expenses, oh just everything biz related. I'm going to try out some of the software Alyson mentioned at GO.
I think I need this GOOGLE calendar too!
Thanks for all the helpful tips in class.
Your work is awesome.
And what a great nitche you've carved out for yourself.
And not fattening like painting French pastry either.
