Free Big Tommy Scottie Christmas Cards

Big Tommy Holiday Cards ( set of 6)
© rebecca collins /artpaw.com

I am missing my Big Headed boy this week. I decided what better way to celebrate him than by giving away some of the cards I created last year with his artwork. I am giving away a set of 6 Big Tommy Christmas cards. The inside greeting says "Joy!" and that is what he gave us every day of his life.

I am going to draw a winner this Saturday and to enter the drawing just leave me a comment here and tell me in what ways your own pets bring you joy ... I want to hear from you, make me laugh or smile. I will announce the winner on the blog this Saturday. You can leave a comment here or on Friday's blog post. If you just want to buy some cards you can also do that over at Etsy.

Hi Rebecca, I miss hearing about big Tommy in your posts, but my guess is, he is still beside you at your every turn. The cards are beautiful and how appropriate you chose the word 'Joy'! I can't think of a better way to describe my own bullie. She has been a TOTAL joy to us for 13 years now and is my very best friend. Even when my mum died she made she smile, and we love her dearly!

Your work is so beautiful and your Tommy too!! I know the joy our furry family bring... The special greetings when you return from being away even if for just a short time, the understanding cuddles when it's been a hard day - and, so much more...
What a wonderful gift you're giving here.

Tommy--Such a handsome Scottie! I can just imagine what a pleasure you both must have been to each other. Scotties are such loyal friends. My mother in law grew up with a Scotties--loves them so much!

Thanks for stopping by Maggie & Sheri. Sheri he was loyal indeed. He had a heart of gold and was such an amazing boy. What a fun childhood your Mother-n-law must have had being surrounded by Scotties. I am sure she probably learned a lot from their independent nature.

I was asked this week what my favorite word is. My response was "joy". I try to live from a place of joy every min of every day. How appropriate that I ran across your blog on Dog Art Today, today.
I paint pet portraits for a living...living and breathing dogs all day. It brings such joy in my life. Amelie www.amelieart.com thanks for doing what you do

Hootie and his raccoon, thieving behavior, disguised as a bichon, king Charles, poodle mix makes me laugh every day. He opens cabinets, rummages the grocery bags when we get home and always finds something. Sacha, his older brother, a 110lb golden retriever, watches in amazement that Hootie even tries some of his antics, much less gets away with it. Sacha is too good to be bad, but he sure looks like he would like to try it out for a few days. Hootie does however, share his bounty with Sacha. And that makes me laugh.

Casey shows her love and joy in so many ways. I especially love how she gets super excited when I get home from work. She does a little dance, jumps up on me & licks my face.
She even gets on top of the bed to reach me to hug me. I love that.
I live for that love everyday!

Love your blog and your artwork. I can't even begin to imagine how you fill a Scottie sized hole. They are such wonderful friends.

Fergus aka Bogeyman is 18mths old. He has his own thread on a UK Border Terrier Forum (my other dog is a BT) called the Bog-bog Digger Clan and his daily antics provide me with plenty of inspiration for his posts - his penpal there is a BT in Oz! He fills every day with joy and laughter - oh and a little frustration as he is stubborn as a mule - I wouldn't change him for the world. He and Lottie love each other so much - my terrier terrible twosome.

Nubbins is my own big headed boy. He's a Scottie who doesn't let anything stand in the way - even not having toes - hence his name. He likes to hold smaller dogs down with his paw like it's his job and keep bigger dogs in line with a bark that sounds like it comes from something 15 sizes larger than he is. However, once I announce it's bedtime he runs to be lifted into the bed to cuddle like no other dog I've ever had. He's my little love bug and if I won some of your awesome cards I'd be so happy.

My Scottie Monty is the best ever. He stayed next to my bed all last week when I was sick with a cold. "Checking" on me every once in a while by touching me with his cold nose.
