Desmond Kitty Art
I really like Desmond's artwork. When I first saw the kitty photo I was not sure he would have enough personality to be a good portrait, but with those intense eyes and that freckled nose how could I miss. There is nothing wrong with cute after all. You can see from the layout sketch of Maggie & Desmond that I have a long way to go before I figure out how they will work together.

Love those eyes, both sets of them! I'm glad Melissa introduced me to your blog! Wonderful work! I look forward to the finished painting.
We are so excited to be working with you on this project. Thank you for contributing your talent and helping us help homeless pets!
Hi,
I'm Desmond's mommy and I wanted to let you know how awesome I think your work is so far. I was floored when I saw it, Desmond looks so real. I think you captured her adorableness perfectly. You have great talent.
P.S.-- Desmond is actually a girl. Weird, I know! When we first found her we thought she was male, so thus the name. Then when we learned she was female, the name had already stuck and we kept it.

Thanks for all the great comments everyone. Zaina, I was wondering about that pink ribbon! Well she is adorable.
I love your artwork. As a Pit Bull owner myself, I was really excited to hear "Maggie" won the contest for Petsmart. I came to look at your work. Very nice.
I did want to comment that it looks like Maggie is "starring" down the cat with her downward eyebrows. She looks a little scary.
Keep up the great work. We're excited to show off your artwork with our pit bull community once you're all done.
