Is your studio organized?

My digital studio is organized chaos all the time. I am so excited, I just signed up for Alyson Stanfield's on-line class for getting organized. I am optimistic and nervous about this new commitment. I hope it changes my life and that I can tame the clutter monster that dwells at the heart of my business, studio, and yep, my home-life. Today is the last day to sign up ... so check it out. I would love it if some of my artist pals would join the class. My good pal Sheila called me today to remind me, and we both tried to come up with a dozen reasons why we should not do it ... in the end we would not let the other off the hook.

I find it interesting that you two had a well-thought-out conversation about reasons not to get organized... see, you have it in you!

LISTS work for me. that's my tip!

Good for you for stepping up to the plate, Rebecca! Can't join the class myself now (I'll blog why tomorrow :)) but keep us posted and let us know how it goes.

**"Abe" is amazing...love the background combination you used here.

Thanks for the smile and the link to my site, Becca. Good thing we didn't take photos of my disorganized chaotic clutter when you were here. Only YOU know.

Your studio certainly looks organized. Had I seen this photo, I probably would have locked my office door the entire 5 days you came to Florida to visit!!!

And, I'm glad we agreed to hold each other accountable. Any of the community here going to be joining us?

you're pretty organized Beccs. YOu should see my space. Looks like a cyclone hit it. I am convinced it's because it's such a tiny room and not the most well-planned out. I'm going to Ikea on Friday and I hope to find some storage solutions that change my life!! ... or at least make my space more functional.

Are those greeny things job descriptions?
Neat idea...Hmmm

Yep, the green things are job tickets for each commission. When a client orders via the shopping cart we print that out from the web, if they order by mail or phone I have a pre-printed job ticket where I fill in the blanks by hand. The green paper really helps me keep orders apart from regular paper-work.
